How would I feel?
I wouldn't be furious if they took my cells or my family members cells w/ consent. But if they did take them without consent I would be kind of mad. Because they took it w/out you knowing and if they find something they wouldn't give you recognition Especially if your cells turn out like Henerietta where it helped save lives.

I wouldn't be mad if they took the cells without consent either, but if they did take them without consent I would be angry. If they did research on the cells or tissues the person who that came from deserves recognition and some type of compensation.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your view. I think that they should ask, and if they were to ask then I would have no problem letting them take cells from a family member for medical reasons. But, if they were to try and take them without anyone knowing then I would feel very upset.
